Introduction
Real world yield. Hedged. On chain.
A rules based index for hedged private fund yield, and the first basket built to it.
The Index
The Navmont Yield Index is a rules based standard for hedged private fund yield. Selection, weighting, hedging, and exit run on documented rules. Detail in Intro to the Index.
The basket
$RWY is the first basket built to the Index. A daily liquid token wrapping the index. Distributions paid monthly in USDC. Borrowable on chain for instant USDC against your position without redeeming. Every constituent paired with a sized public market hedge. Detail in Basket composition.
The problem
Private fund yield delivers 10 to 12% income with low correlation to public markets. The structural problems are the same for every holder:
- Lockups and quarterly redemption windows
- Multi million dollar minimums
- No hedging at the position level
- No collateral utility outside private bank facilities
- Manager selection driven by relationships, not rules
Tokenization to date has wrapped the gating and added almost nothing.
Why now
Three things changed at the same time. Tokenization rails made every link of the institutional fund stack issuable on chain. The institutional hedge program framework, adapted to a per position model, makes daily liquidity defensible against private fund drawdowns. On chain credit primitives let the same token act as both yield position and collateral.
